The Stop TB Partnership launches call for applications for the next Private Sector Constituency Board Member


The Stop TB Partnership Board has a responsibility to the global TB community in building awareness at the highest political level, facilitating consensus on strategy and policy-making, and identifying key issues affecting the global TB community. It is also responsible for setting and monitoring the Stop TB Partnership Secretariat’s operational strategy and program implementation. The 30 members of the Stop TB Partnership Board are drawn from countries affected by TB, TB affected communities, non-governmental organizations, donors, multi-lateral and technical agencies, the private sector, and various working groups.

The Private Sector Constituency (PSC) is a group of over 100 private sector companies that have come together to bring the business community’s expertise, resources, and voice in order to achieve the targets set forth by the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Plan to End TB, 2016-2020 and the World Health Organization’s End TB Strategy.

The Constituency actively participates in working together with key partners and stakeholders to jointly develop solutions to address the critical barriers in the TB space to ensure that the global TB community ends TB by 2030. 

The PSC Board Member will serve in her or his professional capacity to represent the Constituency as a voting member of the Stop TB Partnership Board and will be selected for a three-year term, renewable once. There is no restriction on age, sex, or nationality of potential applicants. 

Applicants are requested to complete and submit the below documents by sending an e-mail with the subject line – “PSC Board Member Application” – to boardaffairs@stoptb.org by no later than Friday, 18 May 2018 at 6:00 PM (GMT)Full details on the application process, requirements, and documents can be found by clicking here.

The new PSC Board Member will be announced in June 2018.
