Dear Keti,

 

as mentioned, I’d like to introduce a project to the Georgian Government / Minister of Health which, as I assume, is of quite some interest for several reasons.

 

www.hemo-plus.com is one of the key companies collaborating in the currently built big health centre we’re consulting   here in Uyo / Nigeria.

 

The company intended and started to build a similar production site as they do here in Ukraine, but got stuck due to issues of corruption.

 

I convinced the CEO to assess whether the whole project couldn’t be shifted to Georgia instead, the more as the vision is that this production site shall become the hub for Eastern Europe.

 

As the product they are in is one of the most expensive and, for various reasons, also quite complex it’d not only be an outstanding benefit for the Georgian health system and all dialyses patients, but also from the perspective of medi-tech a highlight to have such a firm in the country.

 

Having said this, I’d be in the position to bring the CEO on short notice to Georgia. His interest then is:

 

1. Learn about the interest and possible support by the Government / Ministry in general.
2. Understand the needs for his products in the country itself, though being clear about the fact that Georgia is small and will at maximum have a demand for 5-8% of the quantum he’d go to produce.

 

3. See possible sites identified by the Government / Ministry as “ideal” places from their point of view.

 

The entire issue is of higher urgency as they do have to decide, how to proceed in Ukraine and where to bring to the staff they already have transported to the spot there.

 

Meaning: The CEO would be interested in having the trip to Georgia in the second part of February.
