Good news!
PM Groysman has designated his 1st deputy Stepan Kubiv (First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine) to meet with Gilead on July 15. Mr. Kubiv is prepared to discuss both the HCV cooperation proposal and the data exclusivity infringement issue. Acting Heath Minister Shafranskiy will be part of the meeting.
The meeting will take place at 13:30 at the main government building - the Cabinet of Ministers at 12/2 Grushevskogo St. in Kyiv.
Mr. Kubiv is the 2nd highest ranking official in the Ukrainian government, has a solid business background and is known for his pragmatic approach to issues.
We need to provide the list of Gilead participants and their bios by today ideally.
