Dear CCM Chair and Secretariat,
We are glad to share the conclusions of The Global Fund’s review of the CCM Funding-related performance during the reporting period 1 March 2017 to 30 April 2018 (Year 1) under the CCM Funding Agreement GEO-CFUND-1708.
CCM Funding Performance Evaluation
After review of the information shared by the CCM Secretariat, we are happy to acknowledge very good CCM funding-related performance for the reporting period. The CCM and Secretariat are invited to follow the positive path of improvement during Year 3. In particular, in accordance with Indicator 1 (CCM Secretariat evaluation) CCM Secretariat is required to be evaluated by CCM members during Year 3, and the results of this evaluation to be discussed during a CCM meeting.
Financial Performance
The opening cash balance was USD 24,809 at the end of the previous CCM agreement GEO-CFUND-1607 and covered period 1 Mar 2016 to 28 Feb 2017.
The Year 1 expenditure report covered period 1 March 2017 to 28 February 2018 with a total expenditure amount of USD 65,275 against the total Year 1 envelop amount of USD 70,000 or 93% absorption rate. Savings of USD 4,725 on Year1 envelope has been included in Year2 budget, hence a total amount of USD 74,725 is available in Year 2.

We also note that the financial information provided in the annual expenditure reports will be Audited at the end of this three-year funding period. CCM Secretariat is kindly requested to assure during Year 3 a timely implementation of CCM activities budgeted in Year 3 Costed Work Plan.
