The attached recently published manuscript nicely demonstrates the type of intervention that could be implemented in Georgia, to increase access to care and treatment
in primary care settings. The added benefit of simplified testing can be included when a pangenotypic regimen, like SOF/VEL, is included as part of the package. This type of intervention will keep Georgia at the forefront of HCV elimination; of course we
all agree that this be introduced as part of the HCV elimination program, with a strong evaluation component, and not as a research study. Let me know your thoughts.
