Dear colleagues, partners and distinguished experts,

With the present email, Abt. Associates is pleased to invite you to take part in the half-day event aimed at disseminating findings of the Georgia case study on “Role of the Private Sector in Providing Immunization Services in Georgia”. The study is implemented by Abt. Associated during the period of March, 2017 - April, 2018, with financial support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).

The objectives of the case study were to:

·         Estimate proportion of immunization services provided through the private sector

·         Estimate proportion of total immunization expenditures spent on the private sector, and

·         Determine whether the private sector and Ministry of Health are interacting to improve immunization program effectiveness and efficiency.

The event will be held in Courtyard Marriott Tbilisi Hotel (4 Freedom Square, Ballroom 1) on Tuesday, May 29, from 10:00am to 14:00pm. The presentation will be given by Dr. Ann Levin of Abt. Associates representing the Principal Investigator for the study, that will be followed by open discussion on results with active involvement of invited audience.

ძვირფასო კოლეგებო,

ორგანიზაცია Abt Associates-ის სახელით, მაქვს პატივი მოგიწვიოთ პროექტის - „კერძო სექტორის როლი იმუნიზაციის სერვისების მიწოდებაში საქართველოში“, შედეგების წარდგენისადმი მიძღვნილ ღონისძიებაზე. კვლევა განხორციელდა 2017 წლის მარტი - 2018 წლის აპრილის პერიოდში ბილ და მელინდა გეითსების ფონდის (BMGF) ფინანანსური მხარდაჭერით.

კვლევა მიზნად ისახავდა:  

·         კერძო სექტორის მიერ იმუნიზაციაზე გაწეული დანახარჯების ხვედრითი წილის განსაზღვრას; 

·         კერძო სექტორის მიერ მიწოდებული იმუნიზაციის სერვისების დანახარჯების ხვედრითი წილის შეფასებას იმუნიზაციის საერთო დანახარჯში;

·         კერძო მომწოდებლების და საჯარო სექტორის თანამშრომლობის არსებული პრაქტიკის შესწავლას იმუნიზაციის სერვისების მიწოდებასთან დაკავშირებულ მონაცემთა ანგარიშგების საკითხებზე.

ღონისძიება ჩატარდება სასტუმრო ქორთიარდ მარიოტში 29 მაისს (სამშაბათი) 10:00-დან 14:00 საათამდე (მის: თავისუფლების მოედანი #4, საკონფერენციო დარბაზი - Ballroom 1).

კვლევის შედეგებს წარადგენს Abt Associates-ის კონსულტანტი, ჯანდაცვის ეკონომისტი, საზოგადოებრივი ჯანდაცვის მაგისტრი, დოქტორი - ენ ლევინი. შედეგების წარდგენის შემდგომ გაიმართება ღია დისკუსია კვლევის შედეგებზე, მოწვეული სტუმრების მონაწილეობით და აქტიური ჩართულობით.
