David: Please let me know your dates for visiting the US in June. In that month, the Carter Center is planning a meeting of the International Task Force on Disease Eradication (
https://www.cartercenter.org/health/itfde/ ) to review progress toward viral hepatitis elimination. This is a very impressive body of experts which published a set of recommendations
after each meeting. If you are in the country, your participation would be helpful to demonstrate the political commitment in Georgia leading to partnerships and health systems changes that make elimination possible. I hope you agree this is important. I look
forward hearing from you.

Dear John
Thank you very much for such great opportunity, but unfortunately my schedule does not allow me to do this.
17-20 April I have meeting in Barcelona WHO office, than 21-22 of April Amsterdam EASL Conference and 27-28 April on Tbilisi WHO Inter-Country Meeting.
I could ask either Ministry's representative or some experts of HCV to do the presentation.
I will be visiting US in June (DC) and when dates will be determined, will share with you and if it would be convenient I could visit Atlanta CDC.
Kind Regards
David

David: I am writing to alert you to an upcoming invitation from the CDC Foundation to attend the CDCF Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Elimination Summit and present the status of the Georgian HCV Elimination Program.
The CDCF will convene the summit on April 17-28 on the CDC campus. The summit is primarily focused on the elimination strategies for the United States and will follow the release of a national plan for hepatitis B and hepatitis C elimination. The CDc Foundation
will send you information about the summit very soon. Please let me know if you can attend or if you will assign this opportunity to another expert from Georgia. Please also let me know of other questions or comments you might have.
I hope all is well.
Regards: John
