Dear Dr. Amiran and Dr. Maia,

I hope this finds you well, and able to enjoy some rest this summer.  I wanted just to get your thoughts on some proposed visits, and update some other things through the summer.

1.       Travel (please advise if you are ok with these proposals)

a.       Muazzam plans to visit 24 June – 7 July (or maybe one week later): agenda TBD

b.       I would like to visit 9 July – 20 July:  agenda, I would like to field visit some of the decentralization sites, discuss TAG, IT, have a SC meeting, many other things!

c.       IT: we think that Leslyn may like to plan a visit in late July/early August

2.       IT: we are working on short-term (ie 3 months) and longer term (ie 1 year) plans and identification of resources to support this activity

3.       Response from CDC Director: we are following up on Dr. Sergeenko letter to Dr. Redfield, requesting visit

4.       For your awareness:  CDC Georgia Staff (Lika and Tatia) will provide support for WHO/Ukraine Mission:  I was invited to participate in the mission for CDC technical assistance.  I elected Lika and Tatia to participate in this mission in my place, (supporting national planning and strategic information).

Let me/us know if you have any thoughts, particularly on dates for travel, I look forward to seeing you both soon, and we do have our next Scientific Committee meeting 29 May, I hope you can join.

Best Regards, FA
