Dear Paul,
Let me clarify that two PPP hospitals mentioned in the table of the presented document are not the ones in our domain (Republican and Oncology hospitals) and as I guess, they do not be included in Managed Care model, mentioned in the document. So if you will be still interested, we expect Ministry will provide more particular details of their location, size, structure and PPP investors/partners.
We look for more details of this general vision presented by the Ministry.
We will be back next week, as we have Easter holidays now.
Thank you for the cooperation,
With best regards,
Tea
Dear Tea,
Many thanks for sharing the general vision document. It very much reinforces the discussions we had with the Minister and Deputy Minister in early March. Clearly, it is a high level document at this stage and we would welcome the opportunity to review the detailed plans as they become available.
We note that the document describes 2 hospitals as being under a PPP arrangement and we were hoping either the Fund or the Ministry could provide us with more information on those hospitals. In particular, it would be good to understand how the PPPs are structured, who the PPP investors/operators are and the nature and length of the contracts. When we are next in Georgia, it might even be very useful to visit one of these hospitals if possible.
We look forward to hearing back from you and/or the Ministry of Health.
Kind regards
Paul
