As you are aware, University Research Co and USAID, working together under the TB CARE II Project, are soon holding a workshop. The “Central Asia and Eastern Europe Regional Pharmacovigilance Workshop: Implementation of active TB drug-safety monitoring and management (aDSM) for New Drugs and Shorter Treatment Regimens for MDR TB”, will be held in Almaty Kazakhstan, from June 13-15, 2018. Please see the attached Agenda for further information.

We have so far confirmed the attendance of Nana Kiria (NCTLD Clinical Deputy Director) and Natalia Adamashvili (Global Fund TB Program (GEO-T-NCDC)). We would like to also invite and encourage attendance of a representative of the Ministerial Unit for health regulations/drug agency responsible for Pharmacovigilance. If you could assist us in this effort, it would be highly appreciated.
