Dear Dr. Ersol,
Thank you for your interest to cooperate and willingness to support us. In regard to your mail would like to inform you that all regions of Georgia are covered by medical service providers - outpatient services, GP offices, screening centers and so on that are providing screening programs under UHC (universal health coverage). In addition all screening data is available through cancer register since 2015.
For detailed information on country cancer profile, please refer to the following link http://moh.gov.ge/en/676/Profiles
Kind regards,

Subject: Collaboration with Turkey on Health Issues
Dear Ms. Maia Lagvilava, MD, MHA
Deputy Minister,
I wish to thank you, Hon. Minister for your interest.
From my meeting with your Health Minister in Tiflis, we had identified that the easiest and quickiest project to actualize in Georgia is preventive healthcare services: cancers scereening topping the list. In our country, we have got in each provinvce, one of such centers. To this end, our target should be towards women breast cancers, uterus cancers screenings and diagnosis. Patients dignosed with cancers, are referred to the second stage hospitals specialied in this. For this reason, the facilities to house such centers and the required laws and regulations for your country, could be prepared for you. On completion of the above, such centers would be opended in your country. However, to do all these, it is imperarative that we should come together with senior management staff members of your Ministry.
For the above, we would have to prepare an action plan and agreements. It is my belief that doing this project with our NGO (Vaccine and Biotechnology Association of Turkey), would be the best option. But your opinions and views would be important on this aspect.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Dr. Erol AFSIN, MD
