This is just to update you on the trucks’ arrival.

Unfortunately, for logistical/operational reasons, the two trucks with PPEs for Georgia have moved separately from Liege. One of them is expected to reach the border (Sarpi) tomorrow, 17 July. We got full customs clearance and it will move without stopping to Tbilisi, reaching the Expo Georgia warehouse either in the night or on 18th.

The second truck however, is supposed to reach Sarpi only on 22 July and it will probably need another day to reach Tbilisi.

So, it seems the most feasible to organize the handover event on 24 July, which is next Friday.

Alternatively, we can do it on Monday, the week after (27 July). But my understanding is 24^th is preferable for the EU Delegation and also for the journalists (they get better mobilized on Fridays than on Mondays).

Let me know please about the ministry’s preferences regarding the handover event.

We are flexible and can always adjust.
