Georgia  has been cooperating with the  EU-OSHA since 2014.

In  2014, EU-OSHA started a project with the aim to reach out to ENP countries to establish a focal point and  help with the capacity building and the development of a national tripartite OSHA network by sharing knowledge and good practice. The budget  for Georgia envisaged 35 000 Euro. The funding for the project ended in January 2016.

In 2015, Georgian representatives participated  in "EU-Eastern Partnetship Seminar" organized by EU-OSHA, aimed at sharing experience and exchanging knowledge on the issues of  healthy and safe workplace in EU and Eastern Partnership countries. The seminar was followed by elaboration of informational booklets, aimed at raising awarness on safety issues.

Despite efforts from the Georgian side there has been no further commiciation from the Agency.

Cooperation with EU-OSHA will facilitate towards making workplaces safer, healthier and more productive – for the benefit of businesses, employees and governments; will promote a culture of risk prevention to improve working conditions.
