Dear Deputy Minister Gagua,

 

Trust that you are doing well.  We would like to explore the following pressing points with you on our forthcoming call on 15th Oct as agreed last Friday.

 

1.       MOH – GUMIP Covid disbursement – Amendment letter has been sent to both you and First Deputy Minister Gabunia.  Please kindly let us know about how you see the next steps to enable use to disburse this COVID specific loan this year.  I append the eligibilities guidelines for your information and remain at your disposal for any further questions that you may have.

 

2.       MRDI – Kutaisi disbursement of EUR 5m – We are in the final stage for the first disbursement.  We require a swift come back from the MoF for this first disbursement. 

 

3.       MRDI – GURAD

a.       Disbursement – We are looking to disburse EUR 20m to cover for approved allocations for MDF (following my discussion with First Deputy Minister Karseladze) and we shall be looking for a swift come back from the MoF.

b.       Signature of EUR 20m – We have already started to work on the terms of the additional borrowing and shall be sending you the vetted draft by 23rd October 2020 with an aim to sign by end of November.
