Message sent on behalf of the WHO EURO Executive Board Bureau member
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the European Vice Chair of the WHO Executive Board, Dr Päivi Sillanaukee, we would like to inform you that a consultation between Officers of the Executive Board and the Director-General to discuss the draft provisional agenda of the 144th session will take place on Friday, 21 September by teleconference.
Dr Sillanaukee is committed to fulfilling the request made by European Member States to increase transparence of the work of the Bureau of the Executive Board.
However, as the deadline for submission of proposals with regard to the agenda of the 144th session of the Executive Board is 18 September, the materials for the meeting become available only very shortly before the teleconference. We seek therefore any views or information you may have regarding the said agenda that would help Dr Sillanaukee to better prepare for the discussion. Kindly send your comments by Monday, 17 September to outi.kuivasniemi@stm.fi and eero.lahtinen@formin.fi.
Respecfully,
Ms Outi Kuivasniemi
