Dear Ms. Maia Nikoleishvili:
This is Raphael Satter with Reuters. I’ve been speaking with Dr. Khatuna Mshvidobadze at the George Washington University in the United States and she suggested I get in touch with an interview request.
Together with a colleague, Jack Stubbs (CC’d) Reuters is investigating the hack-and-leak operation aimed at the Georgian Health Ministry and the Georgia’s Lugar Center for Public Health Research. There are some indications that suggest
a state-sponsored effort to spread disinformation ahead of the election this month, but we feel like we need more detailed information on what happened to support a story.
Dr. Mshvidobadze suggested we may be able to speak to Ekaterine Tikaradze. Would this be something you might help us arrange?
We’d be happy to speak with you by phone tomorrow if you’d like more details about our project.
Sincerely,
Raphael
