Dear Sir/Madam,

In case you were not able to connect for the first Zoom test session last Friday, we are offering two more occasions, on 2 and 3 September 2020 between 9:00- 11:00 am (CET Copenhagen ).

This will provide you with the possibility to test the connectivity and the onboarding process to Zoom, the video and audio settings, as well as the various functions in the Zoom application, including interpretation.

Our IT team will be at your disposal to answer any questions and guide you for the accurate set up.

Once opening the link, you will be accepted by the system into the Zoom waiting room, waiting for the verification and further promotion to the main meeting. This verification can take up to 5-10 minutes, so, please, be patient and do not disconnect.

As announced at the RC70 briefing yesterday and in order to be prepared for the virtual RC70 session on 14-15 September 2020, the WHO Regional Office for Europe is organizing a Zoom testing session on Friday, 28 August 2020.

This will provide you with the possibility to test the connection and onboarding process to Zoom, the video and audio settings, as well as the various functions in the Zoom application, including interpretation.

Our IT team will be at your disposal to answer any questions and guide you for the accurate set up.

Technical specifications:

You are welcome to connect any time on Friday, 28 August 2020 from 08:00 to 12:00 (CET).
The meeting link, number, SIP connection and passwords are provided below.
Connection types accepted: Zoom application, web-link or SIP. Please note that interpretation is guaranteed only when using Zoom application.
Participants will be first connected to the waiting room, followed by admission into the Zoom meeting. Connection time can take up to 5 minutes.
Naming convention: please follow the instructions in the Guide for Participants.
The test meeting will be conducted with interpretation in four official languages (English, Russian, French and German)

Since the 70^th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe on 14-15 September will be conducted virtually, the Secretariat is currently looking for the best digital option to connect all Member States. Also based on the experience of 73rd World Health Assembly , the proposed digital platform for the meeting is “Zoom” as selected by other WHO regions.

In order to ensure smooth connection from all 53 Member States, it would be of tremendous help if you could answer the questions below:
