This is İsmail Candan from the DG for EU and Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.

 

We have been informed that you have some questions regarding the Agreement on fighting against communicable diseases.

 

According to the current legislation in effect in Turkey, we have to make such agreement as an international agreement to be signed between the governments of two countries.

 

We consider that if the agreement is finalized as soon as possible, the agreement can be signed during the Istanbul visit of H.E. Zaza Bokhua, Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs on 14 March 2019 in İstanbul.

 

Last but not the least, if deemed appropriate, we need the Georgian version of the abovementioned agreement.
