Dear Marina,

I hope you are doing well. As discussed at the recent Cluster VI Sub-Committee meeting on possible participation of Georgia in Health Programme, here is a feedback from Emmanuel Roure, DG SANTE on the topic for the MoLHSA  consideration. In case you need any support from the EUD side , please let me know.

Best regards and looking forward for your feedback,

Nika

Dear Nika,

I hope that your mission went well ! I started the follow-up of the sub-committee.

Regarding the participation of Georgia in the Health Programme, I consulted  my colleagues in SANTE/C1 in charge of the coordination of the programme. They first need to receive an official 'expression of interest' from the country (official letter), then they will prepare a letter, which indicates the financial contribution to be paid each year.

Before signing the bilateral agreement for participation of Georgia to the Health Programme ( this will be (in the best of the cases for the last year of the Programme 2020), first a Commission decision is necessary to give the green light (template attached in pdf).

I attach also the template of the association agreement (word format).

Please note that even if Georgia signs a bilateral agreement for participation in the Health Programme, a new bilateral agreement will be needed for its participation in the Health Programme after 2020.

Could you please forward these information to the relevant contacts and revert ?

Many thanks.

Best, Emmanuelle
