Dear Ms. Rezvani,
With response to your email, please see the following answer according to your questions:
If a person is retired or is a person with disabilities and additionally is socially vulnerable (status of socially vulnerable), he/she is eligible to receive both pension and social assistance.
If the person is retired and also has a disability statuses, he is eligible to choose to receive either pension or social assistance.
Unfortunately lack of information (despite knowing date and place of the citizen) does not permit us to give a comprehensive information regarding financing of the treatment of several mentioned diagnosis.
As for the medicines indicated in your previous letter (availability of the medicines registered in Georgia was provided in our previous letter), please be informed that only Salbutamol is financially covered under the state program and is covered fully for socially vulnerable persons, for retired persons is covered 50% copayment.
As for the oxygen-concentrator it is available in Georgia (uaxloes did kalakshi) and as inpatient care is covered under the state program and in case of outpatient care, but outpatinetis shemtxvevashi ar finansdeba.
