Dear David,

I hope this email finds you well.

You may be aware that the International Development & Engagement Network (IDEN) assisted the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration with the organisation of their annual international conference, Georgia's European Way, by sourcing appropriate corporate sponsors, which included HP, Intel, Turkish Airlines and Medtronic, to name a few.

I am aware that you in fact met with the regional director of Medtronic, the largest medical device company in the world, during the conference at the Hilton Batumi, in 2016.

We have long-standing relationships with both multinational healthcare corporations and some of the world's leading healthcare practitioners, having previously worked on numerous healthcare events, meeting forums and public policy discussions in Brussels.

Therefore, I wanted to establish whether the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs currently organise their own international healthcare event? If so, we could assist by sourcing appropriate corporate sponsors, to contribute to the organisational costs and also arrange for some of the world's leading international experts in their field, to join the speaking panel.

If you do not currently organise your own annual event, but you feel it could be beneficial to host an annual healthcare event, inviting participation from representatives of other Ministries of Health in the region and beyond, to share knowledge, experiences and best practices, then we would be happy to assist you with this. Perhaps you could consider organising a series of annual events focusing on the prevention and control of various non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes etc, commencing next spring?

If the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs established the theme of the event, developed the agenda, sourced the venue and invited public officials to speak and participate, then IDEN could invite leading international healthcare practitioners, to join the speaking panel and arrange for multinational corporations to sponsor the event, to contribute to the organisational costs.

Please find attached a letter we received, from the former Deputy State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, in appreciation of the work we carried out.

If you are interested in discussing a potential collaboration I would be happy to meet with you in the near future, to discuss potential opportunities for 2019 in greater detail.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Best regards

Neil
