Importance: High
Dear Tamar,
The below and attached is the result of our small pilot project on evaluating the outcomes of NCD treatment at PHC level.
There is an opportunity to make this piece of work and also Georgia more visible by publishing a country story on the WHO Headquarters website.
Please, let us know if this is acceptable for the ministry and if the attached text is OK.
There is also a possibility to add a statement from the ministry in the country story. We would be happy to do that in case you have any ideas for a statement, or we can draft it and share with you.
Sorry for the short notice and for so many emails on your first day after leave…
Thank you and looking forward to your answer.
Silviu

Dear Silviu and dear Rusiko
I hope that you are enjoying the holidays!
Attached is the revised (and very much simplified) version of the country story that our colleagues in HQ would like to publish in the NCD website the week of 7-11 September. There is a thematic
week on NCD and HQ are launching country cases every day. It will be a great opportunity to show
visibility to the donors (Denmark) and, most importantly, secure follow up funds for a larger project along similar lines in Georgia.
There is the possibility for a MOH official to make a statement. If you think this is possible, we can draft something for you to share.
Would you please consider the possibility of getting the MOH’s clearance?
I am aware it is short notice but it is also a great opportunity to share Georgia’s progress in UHC.
Thank you for considering.
Best regards,
Juan
