Dear mr. Iashvili,
My name is Ron van der Veen and I am, of behalf of the Netherlands ministry of Justice and Security, responsible for making transfer arrangements with relevant authorities for returnees in need of medical treatment after their return from the Netherlands.
Concerning the above mentioned return case I have been trying (please see the emails below) since 27-2 to arrange a medical transfer for mr. Didebashvili who will be in need of hemo dialisys, starting on Tuesday 19-3, after his return from the Netherlands to Tbilisi scheduled on Monday 18-3. Mr. Didebashvili and mrs. Birtvelishvili are, because so far they refused to leave the Netherlands, scheduled for detention coming Wednesday. Prior to this detention I would very much appreciate a definitive answer from the relevant Georgian authorities if they can guarantee the continuation of the medical treatment of mr. Didebashvili after his return and whether the scheduled return is feasible from that perspective. We already received information form your Embassy that travel documents for this couple will be issued.
I was unaware of the organizational changes that have occurred in Tbilisi related to the issue of reception arrangements for Georgian returnees in need thereof and would like to like to invite you to inform me who I might be able to turn to in case of cases like the one of mr. Didebashvili need to be prepared in cooperation with the Georgian authorities in future.

It has been quite some time since our last contact, I hope you have been doing well since.
I would kindly ask your attention for the next repatriation case I’m currently preparing for return to Georgia.
Mr. Didebashvili (Tbilisi, 28-4-1982) and mrs. Birtvelishvili (Rustavi, 13-2-1993) entered the Netherlands in 31-8-2017 and after their applications for a residence permit have been rejected they will have to return to Georgia.
Since they are unwilling to do so we have decided to return them involuntarily after being placed in detention for the purpose of finalizing the necessary return arrangements.
Mr. Didebashvili left Georgia from Kutaisi on Mai 4, 2017 and entered the EU in Dortmund after his transplant kidney stopped working. He received hemodialysis treatment in Germany and after rejection of his application there moved on to the Netherlands. Mr. Didebashvili presented a Georgian transportation pass as proof of his identity and claims he lost his passport after arrival in Germany. In the meantime we received information from the Georgian Embassy confirming the identity of mr. Didebashvili as well as of Mrs. Birtvelishvili. (I have added scan of both documents to this message)
Mr. Didebashvili stated that he, prior to his departure from Georgia, received HD treatment in the ‘Ingorovga hospital’ in Tbilisi. Prior to his actual departure from the Netherlands I will have to secure continuation of the HD-treatment of mr Didebashvili and I am therefor in need of your assistance establishing contact with nefrologist willing and able to continue te treatment of mr. Didebashvili after his return.
We are aiming at return during the beginning of week 12, if that is feasible. Since HD treatment is given here at Tuesday / Thursday and Saturday I will try to find out if return can be realized on 18-3 or 13-3.
Could you please inform me if you can be of assistance tracing a Georgian nephrologist willing and able to continue the HD-treatment of mr. Didebashvili after his return to Georgia and if the above mentioned dates are workable for you ?
I’d like to thank you very much for your attention and hope to hear from you soon in order to be able to move forward preparing the return of this Georgian couple.
