Georgian side expressed its gratitude to the Turkish side for the successful collaboration in the field of health care, in particular for providing Georgian side with 100.000
doses of MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella) vaccines, which was a great support for the country in order to efficiently respond and control measles outbreak measures.
Medical Assistance rendered to the Georgian Patients for over the years and training opportunities for Georgian health professionals is highly important and appreciated
within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the countries.
Cooperation in the field of labour and health
Both sides agreed to establish/continue cooperation in the following directions:
- Support in the development of primary healthcare system; high-tech medical services; and professional development of Georgian health personnel;
- Participation in scientific seminars and conferences;
- exchange best practices on public health emergency, preparedness and response;
- Cooperation in the fight against child labour and to this end identification of possible solution.
