Dear Sopo,
We have been informed that the Regional Director, jointly with the Executive Secretary of UNECE, have sent the enclosed letter (including attachments) to the Government. The letter is related to the Protocol on Water and Health and requests the submission of a national summary report by 23 April 2019 in accordance with the reporting obligation under article 7 of the Protocol.
As per the information note we have received the correspondence was delivered to the Permanent mission in Geneva. Additionally I am forwarding the message to you and cc NCDC, which serves as the national environmental health (EH) focal point.

Please find attached a letter addressed to you by Ms. Olga Algayerova, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and Ms. Zsuzsanna Jakab, Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe with regard to the reporting obligation under article 7 of the UNECE-WHO Regional Office for Europe Protocol on Water and Health.
The original letter will be transmitted to you through the Permanent Mission in Geneva.
Please find attached the guidelines and template for summary reports in accordance with article 7 of the Protocol on Water and Health that were adopted at the fourth session of the Meeting of the Parties (Geneva, 14–16 November 2016), as annexes to decision IV/1 on reporting. The documents are also available on the web page of the fourth reporting exercise (https://www.unece.org/env/water/protocol_fourth_reporting_cycle.html).
We look forward to receiving your national summary report by the established deadline of 23 April 2019.
