We have discussed with our colleagues from the Regional Office in Copenhagen regarding the participation of Georgia in the consultation meeting being conducted
in Geneva on Pandemic Preparedness in October. At this stage we think it would be much more beneficial to prepare for a dedicated meeting between the PIP experts in Copenhagen and your team instead of the participation of this highly specific meeting in Geneva.
Such a meeting could take place either in Copenhagen or in Tbilisi, depending on your preference and availability of colleagues in Copenhagen.
I copy in this message Dr. Caroline Brown who is the Program Area Manager and Dr. Michala Hegermann-Lindencrone the Technical Officer for PIP from the Infectious
Hazards Management Unit in Copenhagen.
I’m sure we find a good way how to arrange on further collaborate in this matter.
