Dear Maia and Sarah,
Regarding the epi situation in the abovementioned locations, please be informed that in those areas we mostly have clusters, that are linked to wedding or workers to one large factory. That is why there was an epidemiological concern. In Guria and Shida Kartli regions, the number of daily new cases has significantly decreased. So far, only Adjara remains the region of high concern.

Best,

Maia!

Good afternoon.  I hope you are doing well.

There have been a few places in recent news reports that were listed as areas of epidemiological concern.

I have the following areas:

  • Matani (Akhmeta Municipality)
  • Zodi (Chokhatauri Municipality)
  • Chokhakaura (Chokhatauri Municipality)
  • Kitsnisi (Gori Municipality)
  • Laituri, Ozurgeti Municipality (Guria region)

Do you know if they remain concerning?  Are there any other areas I'm missing?  Please let me know if I should send this inquiry to the NCDC instead.

Thank you!
-Sarah
