Dear Dr Gogitidze,

Please find below correspondence from our Regional Office and attached – the letter of support (Annex VI) to be signed by you, as the National Focal Point for EMT in Georgia.

This is stringently needed, in order to allow discussions on the potential DG-ECHO grant (grant application also attached).

Please note that the deadline is 3 September. We are sorry for such a short deadline.

Feel free to contact us for any additional questions or clarifications, or in case of any additional support needed from our office.

Thank you and best regards,

Dear Vasily,

Hope my message finds you well!

This is to let you know that EMT Secretariat has submitted an application to DG-ECHO for the Disaster Risk Management Action 2020 for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Countries (Ref. Ares(2020)3147156, see attached) – to support further strengthening national Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) and sub Regional mechanisms in European Neighborhood and Enlargement Countries in the following countries in your WHE Hub:

In this regard, I would need to request your urgent assistance to have all countries discussed on the ECHO grant sign the attached - Letter or support from country benefiting form the proposal and declaration on honour are mandatory part of the application (see attached).

Would you please ask the aforementioned EMT NFPs to sign the attached letter on behalf of the respective Ministries?

The deadline is very short - by Thursday, 3 September 17:00 CET, otherwise the application will not be considered for further evaluation

I’m cc:ing WRs of the respective countries in case they have any questions or need further clarifications.

Thank you and kind regards,

Oleg
