Dear Sopo,
WHO Global TB Programme (GTB) is organizing a series of meetings in conjunction with the 49th Union World Conference on Lung Health (Union Conference) from 19 to 26 October 2018 in The Hague, Netherlands.
Representative of Georgia (the National TB Programme (NTP) Manager) is kindly invited to attend the following meeting:
Consultation to guide the development of a global strategy on TB research and innovation, 26 October 2018 (14:00-18:00).
WHO has been requested to develop a global strategy on TB research and innovation, by Member States during the 71st World Health Assembly. This consultation seeks to gather input on the roadmap for developing this strategy in 2018-2019.
The working language of the meeting will be English.
Please find attached provisional agenda for the meeting.
Regrettably, due to budgetary constraints WHO cannot support his/her travel, per diem and registration fees to the Union Conference.
