რემდესივირის გამოყენება კლინიკურ პრაქტიკაში კოვიდ-19 მქონე მძიმე და კრიტიკულ პაციენტებში შესაძლებელია „შემწყნარებლობითი“ გამოყენების პროტოკოლით და ასევე სოლიდარობის კვლევის ფარგლებში.

მნიშვნელოვანია შევთანხმდეთ რა რაოდენობას შევიძენთ პირველ ეტაპზე, კლინიკური ჯგუფის ხელმღვანელი ბატონი თენგიზ ცერცვაძე თვლის, რომ დღევანდელი გამოვლენის მოცულობით ერთ თვეში მოსალოდნელია 16 ათასი ახალი პაციენტი (530 X 30) და შესაძლოა მეტიც იქნეს. მათგან მძიმე იქნება სულ ცოტა 10% ანუ - 1600 პაციენტი, ხოლო კრიტიკულად მძიმე - სულ ცოტა 1 %, ანუ 160 პაციენტი. თუ გავითვალისწინებთ, რომ 1 მძიმე პაციენტს სჭირდება 6 ფლაკონი, ხოლო კრიტიკულად მძიმე პაციენტს 11 ფლაკონი, სულ ერთი თვის საჭიროება გამოდის 11 360 ფლაკონი. ალბათ, უპრიანია, რომ პირველ პარტიაში შევუკვეთოთ ერთი თვის მარაგი მაინც, ეს კი არის 11 360 ფლაკონი (1600 მძიმე და 160 კრიტიკულად მძიმე პაციენტისთვის) , ან ყველაზე უარეს შემთხვევაში - ამის ნახევარი მაინც, რაც იქნება სულ 2 კვირის მარაგი - 5680 ფლაკონი (800 მძიმე და 80 კრიტიკულად მძიმე პაციენტისთვის). მიმაჩნია, რომ ამაზე ნაკლების შეძენას აზრი არა აქვს, რადგან ყველა მძიმე და კრიტიკულად მძიმე ავადმყოფს ვერ შეხვდება რემდესივირი, რაც დამატებით უსიამოვნებას გამოიწვევს. იმის გათვალისწინებით, რომ მძიმე და კრიტიკულად მძიმე ავადმყოფებს ფლაკონების სხვადასხვა რაოდენობა სჭირდებათ, სჯობს შევუკვეთოთ პირდაპირ ფლაკონების რაოდენობა და არა პაციენტების რაოდენობა.

ლოგიკა გასაგებია, თუმცა მოვლენების ისე სწრაფად ვითარდება, რომ შესაძლოა რემდესივირის მოხმარების პროტოკოლიც შეიცვალოს და ყოველთვის იქნება რისკი, რომ ჭარბ ოდენობას ქვეყანა ვერაფერში ვერ გამოიყენებს.
