გიგზავნით გერმანიის საელჩოდან მიღებულ მეილს, რომელიც ეხება სუნთქვის აპარატების გადმოცემის საკითხს.

გერმანიის ელჩის ბატონი ჰუბერტ ქნირშის სახელით მოგვმართავენ თხოვნით 5 სუნთქვის აპარატიდან 2 ცალი აფხაზეთისთვის რომ გავითვალისწინოთ. ეს იმ შემთხვევაში თუ კოვიდის ქეისების მატების შემთხვევაში ქვეყანაში არსებული სუნთქვის აპარატების მარაგი საკმარისი იქნება.

ამასთან, გერმანიის საელჩო UNDP-თან დააზუსტებს აფხაზეთის სამედიცინო პერსონალს აქვს თუ არა შესაბამისი კომპეტენცია ამ კონკრეტული ვენტილატორების მოდელის (Evita-V600 Ventilator, მწარმოებელი კომპანია “Dräger”) გამოყენების.

concerning the ventilators a new date for the handing over has not been announced yet.

On behalf of our Ambassador, Hubert Knirsch, I would like to address you with the question, whether or not it would be possible to dedicate two of the five ventilators foreseen for Georgia to Abkhazia.

This, of course, under the condition that the amount of ventilators currently existing on the Tbilisi controlled territory is according to your assessment sufficient even if the numbers of infections increase.

Furthermore we would need to double check with UN-DP, if Abkhazian medical workers have the skills to operate this certain ventilator. If this two conditions are fulfilled, we would also need to know, how the packages should be labeled so that they would be accepted by Abkhazia.

we received the information, that the ventilators will be delivered in the course of the following week.

The exact date and time are unknown at the moment.

Depending on the appointed time the Embassy would like to join the handing over of the ventilators.

For coordination we would get back to you as soon as date and time have been communicated.

The German Foreign Ministry has made funds available to procure ventilators for the countries of the Eastern Partnership.

Despite the fact that Georgia is doing particularly well in terms of handling the Covid-situation and  a number of ventilators is already available,

we would like to provide you with 5 further ventilators.

The procurement and provision will be carried out by the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (Technisches Hilfswerk).
