Please note that in order to define wether the patient could get the relevant treatment in medical facilities of Georgia, first of all we need medical record of the patient, which is submitted by the Ministry to the relevant health specialist/expert for the decision.

In general, we receive official correspondence (including health record) through the Embassy of the corresponding country with request to provide information regarding the treatment of of the patient whose case is under discussion.

Dear ms Nikoleishvili,

Thank you very much for your response.

At the moment mr Baindurashvili is still waiting for a court ruling on the denial of a residence permit.  He claims he cannot get the medical treatment het needs in Georgia.

However our medical advisory bureau says he can get treatment in the Tsulukidze Urology National Centre in Tiblisi.

Now we have to prove that mr. Baindurashvili will and can get treatment at this Centre in Tbilisi.

So if you could confirm that he will be sent to this centre for his medical treatment (4 times dialysis per week, for hours each time), we can submit this to the court.

I’m sorry we have to bother you with these questions, however this is our legal system at the moment.

Dear mrs. Bregvadze,

I received your email adress from my colleague mr Henri Doesberg.

I have a case of a Georgian citizen who is residing illegally in the Netherlands and suffers from Polycystic kidney disease.

He needs to have dialysis 4 times a week 4 hours each time. He also suffers from high blood pressure and kidney failure.

Based on our medical advisory agency this person can be treated in the Tsulukidze Urology National Centre in Tiblisi.

Can you assist in arranging a medical transfer to this clinic when he is repatriated to Georgia so his treatment can be continued?
