Subject: Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Ed Gresser
Hello Elza,
I hope you have been well, I haven’t see you in a long time.
Assistant U.S. Trade Representative (and economist) Ed Gresser will visit Tbilisi. His focus will be bilateral trade between the U.S. and Georgia, specifically via the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP). Of course related to that issue is labor reform. He will be joined by Anne Zollner, Chief, Trade Policy and Negotiations Division, Office of Trade and Labor Affairs.
I was wondering if you and Minister Sergeenko could be available on Sept 14-15 to meet Mr. Gresser and Ms. Zollner. At this point, the schedule is pretty flexible. I am happy to discuss in more detail by phone if you like. My contact information is below.
Regards,
Charlie
