Dear Rusiko,

This is the invitation that has been sent to the Permanent Missions to the UN Office in Geneva, requesting them to confirm their participation at the donor meeting.

The event is not a conference for which member states are requested to nominate representatives.

This is a donor conference at which possible donors will commit to donate funds to the WHO.

The conference will run in six official WHO languages and it is up to the member states to decide if they will be represented at all, if they will be represented by the staff of the Permanent Mission to the UN Office in Geneva or any other staff. Confirmation of participation is exceptionally possible by the end of this week.

The costs of participation cannot be covered by WHO.

Best regards,

Marijan Ivanusa

Dear Mrs. Klimiashvili,

Please find attached letter regarding the WHO event which is taking place on March 26, 2018 in Geneva, which we received via Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia on March 7th, 2018.

In order to proceed with this Invitation, we would like to clarify few issues:

1.      If the nomination of the candidate is still possible (confirmations deadline was March 12th,2018);

2.      What is the working language of the meeting?

Will wait for your kind response on the matter.

Best regards,
