I would suggest you to share this information with your IT guys because they should be able to evaluate whether the technical requirements are fine with them.

The other thing, they offer you two products: batchgrouper and VisualDRG.

The batchgrouper you definitely need. This is what you should install into your (SSA/MOLSHA) server and start to use it for grouping purpose.

The VisualDRG is kind of optional. VisualDRG has also the batchgrouper function but you can use it internally (within SSA/MOLSHA) to check the grouping of single cases, provide feedback to providers concerning the grouping related questions, use it for training the providers and also internally etc.

VisualDRG also includes the grouping rules in it which you may use while investigating why this or that case groups to this or that DRG and it helps you to explain it to providers or learn the grouping logic yourself.

Both products (setup kits) are delivered via password secured webpage, you just need to download them from there. Prodacapo provides the guidelines for this.

As Jussi says, they are happy to provide information about different options of both products upon your request, if required. Feel free to ask him, and I would encourage IT experts also to do so, if there is something unclear for them.

So if I were you, I would go for both products. It might be that you get sort of discount if you take both products but this is just speculation because I am not aware of the Prodcapo license fee policy.

I would like to kindly address you from the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia regarding NordDRG grouper software.

The Ministry initiated the cooperation with Nordic Casemix Center to obtain "Certificate of Acceptance" for NordDRG grouper software. The definition tables required for the grouper have not produced yet.

However, we would like to start the negotiations with you as a potential grouper software producer to clarify the terms and conditions for our further cooperation.

We are interested in getting more information about the conditions under which the grouper software can be acquired (contract and license fee) and technical parameters/requirements which are needed for adoption the grouper software and also, possible technical support from your side if this might be needed.
