We would like to share with you the details of two of Empower's upcoming workshops which may be of interest to you or your colleagues:

1.      International Workshop on Effective Hospital Management and Quality Assurance, scheduled from 21-25 May 2018 in Nagarkot, Nepal

This course aims to improve the management skills of the hospital teams by focusing on behavioural change and institutionalization of the culture of quality improvement.
The learning model can be adapted in different hospitals across countries. This workshop will help the existing and newly appointed hospital management staff and other
cadres, for effective management in delivering quality healthcare services to the beneficiaries.

The workshop will include lectures with live demonstration, supported by case studies on effective hospital management for healthcare delivery services. Special attention
will be given to the improvement of healthcare quality and decision-making to address the needs of hospitals and patient satisfaction. The key topics being covered are:

2.      9^th International Workshop on Global Health Procurement and Supply Chain Management, scheduled from 18-22 June 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The workshop will help you understand how the Global Health Leaders attain expertise on Procurement, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.
The workshop includes sessions with experts from Empower, UNDP, UNICEF and Thai ministry of Public health. We have also arranged for field visits and sessions
with the senior management from the mentioned healthcare organizations.

The participants will get an opportunity to discuss and seek solutions from the experts on various challenges that they face at the program / organization / country level.

The training fee payable is USD 2100, which includes:

·          One-week face-to-face training in Bangkok

·          Certificate from Empower School of Health

·          Local transportation for field visits

·          One Year of technical assistance

·          Does not include: accommodation, airfare or other travel expenses
