Thank you for the SNEM for Gottfried Hirnschall and David Sergeenko's visit on 06/19/2017.  We will review and process accordingly.  Please be aware, in addition to OSSAM/PHIO’s approval, HR Mechanism and HR Immigration must approve the visit before the visitors will be allowed entry into CDC facilities.

You listed lab building 18 and it requires a justification for entry; please advise.  Note, if this visit is only going to involve meetings and discussions where no lab training or work will take place, the meeting needs to be moved outside of the lab building.

I updated the facilities to include Corporate Square, Building 8 & 12.

This visit is for the Minister of Health and Dr. Hirnschall both of whom have visited CDC before.  If possible, please add Corporate Sq, bld 12 & 8, 3 floor on both.

Here is more information regarding the acute importance of this visit as written by Div Director:

Meeting with visitors from WHO, Gottfried Hirnschall and Georgia, health minister  David Sergeenko. In the latter case, the health minister is visiting at a very sensitive time- DVH contributes considerable TA for the Georgia HCV elimination project including a commitment of $300K to CGH for country office support; CGH is considering closing the office ; and the health minister meets with Tom Price two days after the visit to CDC. In person meetings without unnecessary distractions are important. Specifically, I would like to avoid the health minister being refused entry to CDC. A continued refusal by NCHHSTP with a turf to CGH increases this possibility.    We are meeting with him at Clifton Road.
Gottfried  is the lead for HIV and hepatitis at WHO.  He will have meetings at both CSq and Clifton.  Most of his meetings will be with NCHHSTP staff. Thank you for taking care of this request.
