On behalf of the Assistant Director-General for Strategic Initiatives,
Dr
Raniero Guerra, I am pleased to share a link to the ”Advance Version”
of EB Document 142/11 – “Polio Transition Planning,” that will be
discussed under Agenda Item 3.4. This is to facilitate additional
time
for review of the report as the final version of the document in all 6
official languages will only be available on Friday, 12 January in the
EB

I will also take this opportunity to note that Dr Guerra would be
pleased
to meet with you ahead of the EB to receive your views on the Report,

also brief you on the next steps that the Transition Team will be
undertaking to ensure that a comprehensive Strategic Plan is submitted
to
the WHA as per Decision A70(9). I will be happy to facilitate these
meetings.
