Dear Sir/Madam,
In March, we sent the invitation to His Excellency
Mr. David Sergeengko, Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of
Georgia, to take part in the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
(UNECE) Ministerial Conference on Ageing to be held in Lisbon, Portugal,
from the 21st to the 22nd of September 2017.
The Conference is organized by UNECE in cooperation
with the Government of Portugal, under the coordination of the Ministry
of Labour, Solidarity, and Social Security. The title of the Conference
is “A Sustainable Society for All Ages: Realizing the potential of
living longer”.
We are pleased to inform you that the host
country will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and meals for two
representatives from your country, including the Head of delegation.
In order to facilitate arrangements by the
host Government, we would like to kindly request you at this stage to communicate
the composition of your delegation to the UNECE secretariat by 3 July 2017.
The host country travel agency will then contact the Head of delegation
and the second nominated delegate regarding the necessary travel and accommodation
arrangements. Please note that all delegates will have to fill in
the registration form on-line before 15 August 2017.

I’m contacting you from the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs
of Georgia, International Relations Division, regarding the Ministerial
Conference “ A Sustainable Society for All Ages: realizing the potential
of living longer” which is to be held in Lisbon on September 21-22nd,
2017.
In April 2017, We have sent an official letter, signed by the Minister
Mr. David Sergeenko, regarding the attendance. (Please see the attached
letter below).
The only issue is that, besides Minister, there are two candidates, Ms.
Sofiko Belkania, Head of Executive Department of the Ministry of Labour,
Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and Ms. Nino Odisharia, Head of Social
Protection Department at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs
of Georgia that are willing to participate in this conference, is there
any possibility of financial assistance for three of them?
