We are just two weeks away from the 67^th meeting of the Regional Committee here in Copenhagen, and we look forward very much to meeting you on that occasion and to discussing our further collaboration.

Allow me to draw your attention to a cross-divisional activity in which my Division, together with the Division of Emergencies, Communicable Diseases and Health Security, is currently engaged.

As you may know, the Regional Office, in close collaboration with the Center for Policies and Studies (PAS), Republic of Moldova and other partners, is implementing a three year Regional Eastern Europe and Central Asia Project on Strengthening Health Systems for Effective TB and DR-TB prevention and care (TB-REP), funded by the Global Fund.

To take forward this Project and communicate its key aspects to the highest level, we cordially invite the Minister of Health and/or his/her representative to attend a meeting at which we propose to:

·         To review project’s updates and key progress in implementation of the project.

·         To present and discuss activity plans till end of 2018 and next steps after for fostering sustainability of project deliverables.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, 13 September at 08:00 a.m. in the Arcade Room (ground floor), Budapest Congress Center, Budapest, where a light breakfast will be served.
