Subject: Georgian definition tables - further steps
Dear Mariana,
Below is the information we got today from Martti Virtanen (CEO, Nordic Casemix Cetnre).
What he has done is a big leap forward in the DRG implementation process because it is now very close to producing the Georgian grouper which you can start to use once it’s ready and installed in your systems.
The attached file is meant for Prodacapo, they will use it for creating the grouper software. So there is nothing you could to with this and there is no need for this either.
I encourage you to contact Prodacapo asap in order to inform them about the availability of definition tables and to forward this zip file to them.
Same time, move on with negotiations regarding the contract and software license (including the license fee which you will need to pay) with Prodacapo.
If there is anything you need the assistance with or any clarification regarding the further steps, please let us know.
Thanks
Kristiina

Dear all
Attached is the dBase version fo the definition tables for Georgian version of NordDRG for test use. Because of the way they have been used on first line in most tables is referenc to Latvia (Lat). That is only technical and the content is Georgian version (Geo) .
The tables are now delivere only as dBase tables, because this is the format we have been using internally in NordDRG work for production of the grouper.
In the future the format will be text-file (csv-file) which is readable with Excel as well as with many text editors.
FCG-Prodacapo is used to this format and they can produce a grouper from these files.
All texts are in English since FoxPro is not able to use Georgian alphabet.
Greetings
Martti

Dear all
I have now created a FoxPro version of the Georgian intervention classification with mapping to NCSP+.
Also in the intervention classification I found a small number of dublicate codes.
The codes/rows without Georgian codes are marked with red highlight and are obviously excluded from the working file.
In addition the file contains the codes for headings that should not be used in coding and cannot be used in DRG-assignment. These codes that are marked with green highligth in the attached table. They are also removed from the mapping.
Yellow highlight indicates error in the mapping from Georgia. There are a few dublicate codes that are obviously removed. A number of codes were mapped to inactive NCSP+ codes. These would not affect the DRG assigment and therefore the mapping has been corrected to active NCSP+ codes.
The yellow highlight thus indicates situations were the Georgian mapping must be corrrected for future use.
The Georgian alphabet does not function in Foxpro. Therefore i use english translation. However, I hope we will in the future we will be able to use the Georgian text. Even now, I could check some of the problems by using google translator with the your original text. So please retain the Georgian text also in futur versions.
Greetings
Martti Virtanen

Dear all
I have no greated a FoxPro version of the ICD-10 file with the linkage to ICD+ codes.
FoxPro is the old database system that we still use (untill we get new system running later this year)
I am sorry, but FoxPro is not able to read the Georgian alphabet and therfore I will only use English in the system. In yuour own system you can obviously use Georgian by linking the codes to the correct codes.
I found a number of doublets in the Georgian ICD-10 and I have cleaned them out. Now every code has a linkage in ICD-10-plus which means that they will all get mapped properties in NordDRG and can be used in grouping.
You should however now clean your onw files. Therefore I attach te list mapped codes (ICD10 2018 GEO eng.txt) and the doublets (ICD-10 dublets.txt)

Dear Kristiina,
Maia and NCDC have corrected some mistakes in ICD and NCSP (see link below). These are final version for definition tables.
