Hi there, Nino Mamaladze!
Why New York?
The Empire State, The Big Apple, The City That Never Sleeps…

Whatever you want to call it, New York is a city like no other. Ask anyone what they love about NYC and chances are they’ll mention the energy, the vibe, the atmosphere. It’s the feeling you can only get in a city that’s enchanting, trendsetting and an epicentre of all things cool.
Insider tips
L&B Spumoni Gardens
Nick Nick
Nick is a fifth-generation New Yorker who enjoys good conversation, good food and good drinks.
Forget the round pizzas you know and love! Grabbing a slab of Sicilian square pizza at L&B Spumoni Gardens is the only thing you need to feel like a real New Yorker. Just be sure to save some space for spumoni – a multi-flavoured Italian ice cream flecked with candied fruit and nuts.

Comedy Cellar
Jill Jill
Comedy fan Jill was born and raised in the Boston area and currently lives in Brooklyn.
Stand-up legends and up-and-coming names alike have taken the stage at this dark and cosy comedy club, in the heart of Greenwich Village. Fans of comedian Louis CK will recognise the Comedy Cellar as the classic brick background from the TV series Louie.

Where to go
Chelsea
Chelsea
Chelsea retains many of its 19th century landmarks. You’ll find eclectic art galleries hidden amongst the rows of townhouses. The High Line Park – which runs along a defunct elevated railway line – is popular with locals. Chelsea Piers is a massive sports and entertainment complex, while Chelsea Market is loaded with gourmet food shops.
East Side
East Side
On the Upper East Side, dive into upscale dining and shopping fit for a king, while Murray Hill, Third Avenue and Union Square contain buzzy bars and restaurants popular with young professionals. After dark, head to the nightclubs in the Lower East Side and East Village to connect with Manhattan’s young and fashionable.
What to see
Rockefeller Center
Rockefeller Center
Popular areas
No-one rocks the Rockefeller like The Rockettes, the dance troupe that have high-kicked their way to legendary status. See them perform at Radio City Music Hall, one of 19 buildings in this complex. Shop and champagne-pop your way through luxurious malls, see the view from the ‘Top of the Rock’ or watch ‘The Today Show’ being filmed outside NBC’s Studio 1A from 06:30.
Empire State Building
Empire State Building
Landmarks
If you’re in a New York state of mind, nothing is more timeless than the Empire State Building. 4 million tourists scale the 443 metre, 102 floor building annually, which has become a symbol of romance and site of countless proposals and midnight kisses. On a clear evening, set the night to music with live saxophone on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 22:00–01:00.
What to eat
What to eat It would take you roughly 22 years to eat in every restaurant in New York City, so the hard part will be deciding where to satisfy your appetite. Bagels with cream cheese, slices of piping-hot pizza and freshly made pastrami sandwiches are all on the list of must-tries, so get ready for a feast!
