Ambassador Bakradze reflects on his first month in Washington
Ambassador of Georgia to the United States of America David Bakradze assumed his post on January 19, 2017, after being appointed
in December 2016. Ambassador has a distinguished career in diplomatic service spanning 15 years. Before his appointment, he served in a number of senior official posts in Georgian public service. Ambassador shared his experience on the first month of his service
in the United States.

US Senate delegation spends the first days of the New Year in Georgia
A US Senate bipartisan delegation made up of Senator McCain (R-AZ), Senator Graham (R-SC) and Senator Klobuchar (D-MN) started
their two-day tour of Georgia with a visit to the occupation line in v. Khurvaleti, east Georgia. “Without freedom, there is no innovation, so here is my advice. When business grows, so does your country. Democracy requires people to participate. I am very
impressed by the Prime Minister's effort to reform your country," noted Senator Graham.
