Italo "Love Italy" Fare Available Now

Admire the lush campagna Italiana from the comfort of a train: zip through rolling vineyards of Moscato while the Alps loom magnificently in the background, whizz past tired groves of ancient olive trees. Catch a glimpse of a cheerful family picnicking under the shade of the ripe fig trees, table abundant with Chianti, coppa, i formaggi. You can barely take it all in before your train comes to a cool stop and your feet hit the platform: benvenuti nella magnifica Venezia!

A Sweet Deal for La Dolce Vita

This is the summer that we make it happen. We've come together with Italo, one of the Italian high speed rail carriers, to provide you with a memorable (and cheap) summer holiday across Italy by train which can only be booked at Trainline.

Sì è vero! We're making you an offer you cannot refuse.

Quando, Quando, Quando?

Starting on April 19th, you'll find a new promotional “Love Italy” fare on our website and mobile app that you cannot find in any other place—not even on Italo's own website. The fare will be available for journeys between May 15th and July 30th. But wait, there's amore!

You will be able to book trains between the following cities:

Florence to Naples, Padua, Rome, Turin, Venice, Verona
Milan to Rome, Turin
Naples to Padua, Rome, Venice, Verona
Padua to Rome
Rome to Venice, Verona

You think the deal stops there? Don't be Sicily. Fares start at €9.90 and you can get all the way from Naples to Venice for only €39.90. Life is Beautiful in Italy.

But you will have to figure out how to fill the time between whirring across the Italian countryside in high speed trains, we cannoli do so much. Be sure to book early, you don't want to run out of thyme.

P.S. If we had a penne for every Italian pun we thought up during the making of this newsletter we'd book all of our Italo tickets and still have plenty left over for gelato.
