Dear Noe,
I would like to request your collaboration in an important FAO exercise.
FAO has defined five Strategic Objectives, which set out the interventions needed to meet the food and agricultural challenges faced by member countries. We have also developed a results framework so that we can track the progress of these Strategic Objectives, and measure the results of the programs and activities implemented with our partners.
One of the crucial elements of the results framework was the baseline survey that we conducted in 80 sample countries in 2014. The purpose was to establish the baselines for outcome level indicators (outcomes reflect the changes needed in country enabling environments to help achieve the strategic objectives).
In the period of November-December 2015, we are conducting the first follow-up survey to assess how the situation has changed compared to the baseline, and what contribution FAO has made to those changes.
Georgia is one of the sample countries and we would therefore like to kindly request the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affair’s  participation in this survey. We would like to get a rich and knowledgeable range of participants to give us a truly informed and objective picture of the country status.
Survey respondents include experts representing the Government, UN agencies, international donors and International Financial Institutions, research institutions/academia, civil society and private sector. The websiteВ (http://www.fao.org/about/strategic-planning/corporate-baseline-survey/en/) provides further information about the survey.В
We would be very grateful for your kind participation in this exercise, which constitutes a crucial step for FAO in the effective delivery of results at country level in the coming years. Please find the attached questionnaire and fill in with requested information. We would very much appreciate to receive it back by Dec 4, 2015, COB.В
Please let me know if you have any questions or need assistance regarding the questionnaire.В I would be happy to provide any support or guidance.
You can reach me out by this e-mail or at this phone number: +995 577 44 74 84
Many thanks for your understating and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Nino Kakubava
