Dear
Tea,
As to the focal point for the QMS training from the MoH side, let me share some additional information that I have received from Olexandr yesterday about this
activity:
Monday 16 July we will need to see the meeting venue and evaluate its readiness for the course.
After that we need to make a visit to the Ministry to justify our preparedness for the workshop and discuss the need of participation and good governance to
achieve the result.
As discussed we expect that by the end of the workshop:
Roles and responsibilities in the QMS development process will be defined by the Ministry, e.g. quality manager selected/appointed (critical), etc.
Participants will prepare fist drafts of the Quality manual and essential SOPs (critical) and may follow the QMS development process in the future.
Establish collaboration with contractor for any follow-up activities, consultations, revisions.
The training will be facilitated by consultant was from Germany Dr Werner Gielsdorf (he was later hired for intercountry QMS training by HQ) and Dr. Olexandr
Polishchuk from WHO Regional Office from Europe.
Our office will secure venue and all logistics related with the event. We would highly appreciate your help with identification and invitation of the meeting
participants.
I may bother you today by phone to discuss some more details, if possible.
Thank you very much for all you kind help and support in advance.
With best regards
Giorgi

Subject: QMS training
Dear Sopo,
I cordially hope that current political changes in Georgia will not substantially delay our excellent technical collaboration.
Below is the information about the QMS training:
-
proposed dates for the QMS training 17-19 July 2018,
-
maximum number of participants: 25
-
provisional programe – at glance:
-
Day 1: general description of NRA’s QMS, importance, structure and ways to build it;
participants – attendance of staff of the Ministry, including decision-makers (i.e. Ms Maia Lagvilava, deputy minister) would be relevant.
-
Day 2: development of the core draft QMS documents by groups of NRA experts; QMS is everybody’s business in the NRA, consequently proper selection/allocation of staff is needed.
-
Day 3: continuation/finalization of work initiated on day 2; presentation of results and debriefing.
I also copy Ms Jikia, who may be able to provide further details.
Best regards,
