I am pleased to inform you that the list of speakers for the WHA71 general discussion is now open. Please send your request to be inscribed on the list of speakers to Paola Piazza (piazzap@who.int).

This year the theme of the general discussion will be “Health for all: commit to universal health coverage.” Additional information about the general discussion will be provided in the convocation letter of for the Health Assembly, which will be circulated next month.

As in previous years, we will strive to maintain a regional balance in the order of speakers, and the list will be made available in the Preliminary Journal for WHA71, which will be posted on the WHO website in advance of the Health Assembly.
