Dear Ana,

My apologies for this misunderstanding, but this request was never communicated to me. As Georgia is a priority country for WHO, we will cover your travel to this meeting. I will get in touch with our travel agent  regarding your ticket. Please let me know if you have any preferences or restrictions regarding the travel.

Best regards,

Tim

Dear Tim,

Thank you for your feedback. Participation in the mentioned meeting is of course very important for us. However, in the designation letter of the candidate from NCDC, we stated that due to limited funds our institution will not be able to cover travel expenses and participation from our side will only be available if expenses are covered by the organizers. We will understand of course if it is not possible and in this case, only one candidate will participate from Georgia (Dr. Torua as I am aware of).

Thank you again.

Best,

Dear Ana,

Thank you very much for your message and apologies for the late reply. Accommodation including breakfast, as well as lunches, a welcome dinner on Wednesday, and a social dinner on Thursday, are all covered by WHO. We will also try to organize airport transport. It is indeed our intention for institutions to cover the remaining travel costs of their participants, which is mainly the flight ticket. Should this not be possible, please let us know and we’ll try to find a solution. Kindly inform me of your flight details, once you make a booking. We are currently planning to conclude the meeting around 16:00 on Friday.

I hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, should you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Tim

Dear Tim,

Thank you for inviting me to this significant meeting. It will be a great pleasure to participate.

I have one question before I complete the registration form. In the invitation letter, it is stated that only accommodation and meals will be covered by the office, is it our responsibility to support other expenses, including flight tickets?

Regards,
