It is difficult to indicate the costs of the March mission. We expect the cost to be below 15,000 USD (travel, expert fee). I have told the regional office that the costs should be below that value; in reality we only have 7,500 USD available for the activity, but we may use funds from other top tasks in our BCA workplan, as GMP is such a priority for the country.

The experts have been contacted by the regional office, so I lack full information about the possible expert fee.

 

The WHO daily consultancy fee for international consultants starts from 200 USD and can go up to 700 USD or exceptionally above, depending on their seniority and the work to be delivered. This is much more than national consultants.

I assume this is the information you were interested in.

 

We will confirm the dates as soon as we get the feed-back from the regional office (having in mind the email from Marina).

The team has confirmed that they are available for the mission in March, 12 – 16 March 2018.

The costs of March mission can be covered from the BCA workplan.

 

At this stage we have no information on possible funding for other activities listed in the draft strategy sent to you earlier this year. Yesterday I have met Dr Hans Kluge, director, who works hard with his team to secure additional funding for Georgia. We will only know the result in late February or early March.

 

We are waiting for your confirmation of the mission in March.

Roman Gurzhii, inspector on GMP/GDP and MD inspections, Ukraine

Mkrtich Shakaryan, Current Head of GMP/GDP inspection in Armenia

Olexandr Polishchuk, WHO

 

The costs of the mission can be covered by the BCA funds.
