>1.       Architecture of our software is service oriented, which makes each operation real time and fast. Creating files for each case may slow down the process. Does “NordDRG Batch grouper” have web service support?

Batch grouper is a command line tool for grouping large amount of data in files for example when loading to Data Warehouse etc. We have other grouper products for this functionality. Alternative products are:

1.       DRG Server is a raw TCP/IP sockets grouper, where you send a formatted raw text message to the grouper in a specific port in the server and the server responses with a message including the DRG number (and related MDC (main diagnosis category number) and status/error code). This solution has been in wide production is Sweden in many hospitals for many years.

2.       REST API, where you call a grouper access point in server and provide diagnosis codes, procedure codes etc. input information as arguments and the response returns the DRG number (and related MDC main and status/error code) in response body. This solution is not in production use at the moment.

>2. Please provide technical documentations. Information provided so far is not enough to analyze and plan all technical changes needed to integrate “NordDRG Batch grouper” software in our system.

I would like to kindly address you from the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia regarding NordDRG grouper software.

The Ministry initiated the cooperation with Nordic Casemix Center to obtain "Certificate of Acceptance" for NordDRG grouper software. The definition tables required for the grouper have not produced yet.

However, we would like to start the negotiations with you as a potential grouper software producer to clarify the terms and conditions for our further cooperation.

We are interested in getting more information about the conditions under which the grouper software can be acquired (contract and license fee) and technical parameters/requirements which are needed for adoption the grouper software and also, possible technical support from your side if this might be needed.
